Val & George Kammann are a retired farming couple. They met in Manjimup when Val moved to the country to work as a teacher, where she boarded with George’s Mother. 50 years later, after passing on the family farming property to their son, Ian, they decided to convert their new home, which boasts a beautiful rural outlook, into a quality Bed and Breakfast.
If you find a few spare hours during your time at Karri Rose B&B, be sure to ask George about all the surrounding walking trails as he has hiked the Bibbulmun track many times, and ask Val to show you her beautiful flower garden. She has also written books about her & George’s rich family history in the South West of Western Australia.
